What would look elegant and ethereal at the same time?

Hair, makeup, clothes, accessories- I can lean to the theatrical but with some restraint.

What would look elegant and ethereal at the same time?

As a fashion photog in Paris, I noticed that the difference between there and the relatively amateurish approach in the USA was that the make-up artists there "erased" the face of models with base and powder and then pretty much drew a new face on top of that blank canvas. This takes way too much expertise and time for most people to do by themselves, but I've found that if when you finish your go-out make-up if you go over EVERYTHING with loose powder (except eyelashes but including lips), and then lightly blot with a tissue, you get some of the "ethereal" look you're after. It makes a person look kind of dreamy, and keeps everything fresher, too -- plus allowing more dramatic effects underneath without ending up looking just Goth. Just lick you lips at the end.

Thank you, I'll try it! Report It

A blouse designed to look like or resemble a jelly fish, with a dress that is medium to dark turquoise blue satin, and a hand bag resembling a sea shell, and white-silver-pearl coloured bra.
