I like to dress 'edgy' and 'girly' and the same time, skinny jeans with hoodies, t-shirts, and funky retro shoes. I need some ideas for good shirts and accessories and still keep my true style. I also need a new hair style, sort of like Hayley Williams from Paramore... jagged layers and bangs (or like emo/scene hair). I still have a ton of other clothes in my closet from American Eagle. I'm not trying to be goth, just more trendy and up-to-date and ME. How can I encorporate some preppy pieces and still make it match and look cute? Please send pictures of clothes, accessories, and hair.
Thanks a ton!
Edgy and cute?
well, idk if this helps you a lot, but one of my favorite outfits is a bright colored polo from hollister, with dark skinny jeans and a brown braided leather belt. i rip the jeans like crazy, and i wear tights under them so the color of the tights show through. i have a bunch of white tights with different multi-colored patterns, like stars and hearts and whatever. fishnets are cute under jeans too , but they might look a little bit trashy so layer them over some tan stockings or something. then i just wear plain brown ballet flats. idk, i think it's cute, and i get compliments every time i do that. :]

I don't think people can just out-right tell you what you should wear, since it is your style we're talking about.
But I have some tips if you seriously want to improve your style.
*Check out your magazines and cut out pictures that inspire you. Then, try to achieve a similar look with your clothes.
*Go on www.polyvore.com and sift through people's outfits, and find ones that you love the most. Then, wear your clothes in a similar way.
