and this is for my 8th grade semi-formal. Everybosy else is wearing short dresses, and it is in the evening so black is appropriate. i am skinny, and look good in it, but what do you think for hair styles, and accessories??

The dress is great!!! You won't need much jewelry though - I would go with black heels (or wedges), black dangly earrings, and a black bracelet (med. beads or a bangle).

Hair - Up with a few loose strands would be great with the halter top look.

I think it's cute, it has a simple but pretty cut so you can't go wrong with simple and pretty. What's most important is that you feel awesome in it.

I would do pin curls (small curls) all around your face. Bobby pin the bangs or the hair in front back from your face. Try a black glossy bangle, since you have polka dots on the dress try and get cirular white earings. For a necklace try and match the kind of earings you get. Hope this helps you!!

as for the hair.... do it really curly... make different sized curls everywhere.

Hairstyle: Depends on how long your hair is and what you can do with it. I think a red or white head band would also look super cute.

Accessories: I think maybe like a chunky or big beaded white or bracelet and/or necklace.

haha i used to work at jcpenney so i have seen that dress before and it looks really good!! i love it!!

for hair it depends on what you wanna do, if you wanna leave it down, just curl it in a way that makes it look different.

I think half up half down kinda do would look amazing.

for accessories i'd go with small classic pieces, such as a nice necklace thats not too flashy and earrings to match.

They are both really cute, and with either one, defenitely do an half up so it won't compete for attention with the straps, but instead, compliment them!

since its a halter wear your hair up, and a nice matching necklace. Make it a simple necklace though, because there is a lot of pattern on the bottom of the dress.
