This is a hair accessory used to make fashionable, messy ponytails and pigtails...I don't get the directions!!

How to use vidal sassoon fan tail??

Try the following directions...I am sure they will help.

Directions:

Medium-length hair, fine in texture:

1. Gather hair at back of head in a ponytail, secure it with a braided elastic

2. Place Fan Tail閳?on top of the ponytail

3. Twist the Fan Tail閳?clockwise until it is secure

4. Pull some of hair through the center hole to help disguise the Fan Tail

5. Take sections of ponytail and secure under small hooks, working clockwise

6. Back-comb hair

Long-length hair, thick in texture:

1. Gather hair at back of head in a ponytail, secure it with a braided elastic

2. Place Fan Tail閳?on top of the ponytail

3. Twist the Fan Tail閳?clockwise until it is secure

4. Pull some of hair through the center hole to help disguise the Fan Tail閳?br> 5. Take small sections of hair and wind around the base of the ponytail, securing the ends in each small hook.

6. Work clockwise and secure pieces of hair under each small hole

7. Back-comb hair

Just bought this thing. Cant figure it out either, only thing I've found on the 'net is other peoples comments on how they couldn't get the foolish thing to work either.

Dumbest directions ever...where exactly is "on top of the ponytail"? I tried what I thought was the top...just below the braided elastic...that turned into a tangled mess...tried above the braided elastic and that never secured. Got frustrated and quit trying. Report It
