Good hair accessories for guys?

Is it ok for a guy to wear a bow in his hair with a ponytail to hold the ponytail up? I know a long time ago that men wore bows in their hair. One is Ben Franklin.

You can get away with different kinds of hair bands to hold your hair, but I wouldnt recommend a bow.

What was okay for Ben Franklin isn't really applicable 200 years later. You wouldn't consider wearing white curly wigs or frilly cotton shirts would you? Ponytails by their very name sound feminine, and if you are trying to hold it up with a bow that just creates visuals that send shudders down my spine. Please don't.
