Like if there was something that you would do that would set you (or whoever) apart from other people, what cool different accessory or hair style would you use?

Whatever a person does to their appearance, it should be used to better reflect who they are as a person.

For instance, some people who strive to look more intelligent will get rid of their contacts and go back to old fashioned eye glasses because we still associate glasses with "geek".

Another thing that can be done is haircoloring - some blonde girls don't want to seem "sleezy" which has become a new perception of blondes... but at the same time they want a hair color that complements their fair skin - so they go red...

Red hair makes people think of things like Celtic music, fiery tempers and authority.

Another thing that some people do to bring out an aspect of their personality through their style is to gather old clothes from their older relatives... sometimes a good "closet raid" can reveal some really awesome clothes that our parents generation forgot about.

But beware - there are some accessories that are better left in the past - Jelly shoes and mullets anyone?

i died the underneath of my hair hot pink. and i splattered paint all over my black jansport backpack. that made me stand out.

I have this seagull pendant i found on the beach when i was 7. I've been wearing it everyday since then and everyone knows me for it. And last year, when i was signing yearbooks, i would always draw a little seagull. You can't buy anything like it [that i know of anyways!] People even say me without it is like a person with no arms!
