My prom is coming up soon and I need help! I just bought a halter, champagne [light gold] - colored, knee-length dress with matching champagne shoes. What type/color accessories should I use? Also, how should I do my hair and makeup?

You should wear a gold or silver necklace, and a white or gold clutch purse. I think that that you should curl you hair, and leave it down, but only if it is shoulder length or longer. Don't get a perm, but get a wavy, or curling look at the ends of you hair.And I think t5hat if you have blue eye, wear green eyeshadow. Green eyes, wear wear a grayish, greenish ( sage preferably) eyeshadow. If you have brown eyes, then put on heavy gold at the base of eyelid ( by eyelashes) then get lighter in shades as you approach eyebrows. If you have gray eyes then wear a vibrant white or , or that sexy Grey Smokey look, for eyeshadow. Try not to look like a raccoon though. And put some color matching blush on the apples of your cheeks. Also wear some not chunky , but not delicate arm jewelry. I'd say about a half inch in width. Does this help? I hope so! No more gold - you already have the perfect amount. I would add pearls, and a pearl colored purse and jacket. Or, jet black jewelry, purse and shawl.

I'd put hair half up, half down, with curls .[draws attention to shoulders - most of us have great shoulders.]

I'd do a smoky eye [ dk. gray or blue shadow; charcoal/navy/black liner and mascara ]; neutral blush; and a bright or deep tone lipstick.[ tomato red or berry red ]
