Does anyone know how well baby accessories (diaper cakes, btqe wipe cases & burpers etc) sell at

I am looking at making baby accessories - diaper cakes, sock roses, decoupage wall letters, hair bows %26amp; holders, wipes case covers etc etc. I was just wondering if anyoe has had any experience in this and if you had good luck selling these items.

Diaper cakes are more of a special order item, so probably wouldn't sell very well at a craft fair. You could have one or two made and then hand out business cards for people to call you and order one for a baby shower or event.

Things like hair bows, wall letters, etc... would probably do really well. People really are suckers for baby stuff (me included!) Homemade fleece hats and mitts for the winter would probably sell too.

Good luck!

Maybe eBay would be a better outlet for these types of items? I have a 3-month old and I did a lot of shopping on eBay for all kinds of baby stuff.

How big is the city/town the craft fair will be in? Most of the items you named sound like something you would buy throughout pregnancy and the first few years for a baby, but the diaper cakes may be a little harder to sell. Maybe only make a few of those, or have a display one and take orders as most people will only need those for baby showers.

Good luck :)

The wall letters (because they are personalized), wipe case covers and the practical stuff sell really well, the frilly, just for looks stuff don't. What are sock roses?
