Since installing sims 2 bon voyage my hair,make up,clothes and accessories downloads dont work any i

i downloaded all the meshes again and the clothes dont even work just the walls ,floors ,objects and houses work, its driving me nuts now has anybody any ideas why it is just them that dont show up i have tried just about everything to get them to work

Make sure all your downloads are in the "downloads" folder. Also try to "enable" your custom content which will appear when you load up the game.

Try this . . . goto My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/thumbnails and erase the files you find there. Don't worry the game will make new ones. These files are the thumbnails the game creates for your Objects, Hair, Makeup, Clothes, Wallpaper, Floors, all that. It might not be not be updating and by erasing them to force it to.

Also, look in My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2 for a pair of cache files, Accessory and Groups. Delete them. As with the others they are created by the game for displaying things in your game. Again they may not be resetting and will be renewed next time you start it up.

Next . . . or maybe you should try this first . . . download the new CEP file you can find at http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.ph... This little file must be changed with each new expansion package. It might be your only problem.
