Dressing Up for Winter?

Does anyone have any tips for dressing up warm for the winter without looking dorky with just a big jacket on? I just entered high school [no more uniform] and looks matter alot! Nobody wears jackets when it's cold, they wear mini skirts and really short shorts with tank tops and its freezing cold outside! I've worn a tight jacket [kinda] with a white tank top underneath and zipped the jacket just under my boobs and wore shorts. I don't want to wear scarves or hats because those arent even allowed in my high school. Anyone have any tips? I want to be comfortable, but still dress cute. Accessories? Hair style tips? Clothes? Thanks.

in the winter i usually live off of jeans and stockings (with skirts) for bottoms. i always seem to make the stockings or leggings work.

and what could be more adorable than an oversized jacket!

i think hair should be lift down with a bit of volume, and accessories...anything you like.

i know what you mean about everyone not dressing warm! it's crazy! i can't do that. so just wear what you like. winter is a nice time to wear layers, and many fabrics, and to look cute.

I say layer up, but keep your style, okay? Heres an example, it may not be your style, but at least it's an idea. Then add accessories!

dress in whatever makes you feel comfortable. If you're not into jackets, try a warm sweatshirt. a cute one of course! Highschool is so overrated anyway. Im a senior and pretty soon you're not even gonna care. There are a lot of cute, stylish jackets tho. http://www1.macys.com/catalog/index.ognc... For earrings (if your ears are pierced) try finding studs or whatever they call them nowadays lol. Theyre adorable. You can also straighten your hair, or use a curling iron. Whichever works =)

I'm sure you'll look great! Good Luck.
