How do I wear my hair for a dinner party?

I am going to a dinner party tonight and I'm wearing a simple dress with sparkly black pumps. (http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/in... How should I do my hair for the dress. My hair is a little past the shoulders and dark dark brown. I have a straightner but that's it.

Also tips on accessories would help...

For your hair you should curl it or crimp it.

Curl it with a curling iron or crimp it with a crimper or when your hair's wet braid it to make dreamy waves!

Well if its formal put your hair up maybe in a bun or a ponytail high, low or to the side. for accesories maybe get a headband or hair clips.

I would leave it down and straigten it-but make it flowy with movement. For accessories you could pair it with some earrings (diamond studs, hoops etc) and then a pretty necklace that isn't too long. Have fun!!

i love the way your avatar has the hair, (just like mine) so, why don't you try that? Just put it up in a half up-half down ponytail and curl it to the side... stylish and simple, yet effective!

With a scoop neck , a simple French twist with a pretty clip would be perfect. If you are wearing studs, then pair them with a necklace. But if you are wearing dangles or chandelier earrings, then no necklace.

Depends on your face shape... but I think having your hair in gentle waves would be very pretty and appropiate. A simple choker and/or bracelet would suit the simple, stylish cut of the dress too. Here's an article about face shapes and hairstyles to suit them that might help you decide for yourself:

I have found this article useful in the past - and hopeful it will help you. ^_^
